The mission of INDIVISIBLE SEMO is to be a community based inclusive progressive organization that resists authoritarianism and fosters and promotes individuals who champion these values. We believe that positive change is people powered. Our focus is to address social and environmental issues that impact our society, and advocate equity, justice, and inclusion at all levels of government.

GOAL ONE: To be a progressive, pluralistic, non-partisan organization representing the region served.
Serving our community
a. Volunteering and conducting voter registration drives
b. Supporting community events (i.e., food drives, community service
organizations, supporting ethic and cultural events, etc.)
c. Reach out to other organizations that have congruent missions
d. Develop a list and extend invitations to the Southeast Missouri and
surrounding areas
GOAL TWO: To be an active, politically viable alternative for expression and representation of the values of the population served in regard to equity, justice, and inclusion.
Inclusive Allyship
Serving as a support and resource to groups and individuals that are on the margins of
the population served and/or under represented, (e.g., minority ethnic groups, immigrant communities, LGBTQ+ groups, college students, Gen Y, young parents, unions,
professional organizations…
GOAL THREE: To foster, recruit, develop and support, through individual actions of the membership, potential candidates for elective office.
Foster the leaders of the future
Actively seek individuals that display values and behaviors consistent with the goals and
objectives of SEMO INDIVISIBLE. Encourage and support those people who possess the proper attributes for a successful public servant.
GOAL FOUR: To collectively oppose all forms of discrimination and advocate for social change, economic opportunity, and health care access for all.
Resist Authoritarianism and strengthen democracy
Visit regularly with government officials, individually and collectively, to resist authoritarianism and advocate for positive change, opportunity, and quality health care for all.
a. Peaceful protest
b. Initiative petition circulation and signature gathering
c. Regularly scheduled visits with local, state, and national representatives
d. Hosting Candidate “Town Halls”
e. Hosting Candidate debates
f. Participate in and conduct/assist in training sessions provided by INDIVISIBLE
g. Encouraging partnerships and with other groups whose objectives are compatible.

j. Encouraging public input into intervening in the election and governing process and provide for community feedback and information distribution.
